Comanche Gold (CG) will appeal to the beginner and intermediate helicopter/flight simulation enthusiast. The missions may be a bit too easy for the advanced pilot, but with 80 missions and the ability to edit your own, there is a lot of game-play here for the money. I strongly recommend going through the flight school to earn your wings if you haven't played one of these Sims before. Comanche Gold offers a bit of everything, ground and air combat missions, artillery spotting, and even a wingman to help you once in a while. Although the Artificial Intelligence has improved from Comanche 3, don't count on the wingman excessively as this pilot has a habit of getting blown up before the mission is over. The control is not as precise at times as you may want which makes flight maneuvers in tight spots a little difficult. Experienced gamers used to the latest 3D accelerator enhanced graphics may find the graphics a bit average. If, however, you don't have the latest graphical gadgets, CG delivers very nice visual images and effects, including changing weather.
